Aaargh! No! Not again!

I thought we had just had a flame war about the dreaded MTA's, finish. (MTA =
Motor Trade Association ?)

I had been informed that a person needed to be a qualified sorcerer to properly
get sendmail working properly, as it was deep in the black arts of computing.

I had understood that it had been mentioned on the mailing list, that postfix (
or prefix, or infix (?)) was a good MTA, that could be implemented to get
working, by normal sane people, without costing them their sanity.

Perhaps, to avoid yet another flame war, the easiest solution, would be to go to
the PLUG mailing list archive, and search on "mail", or, "MTA", or, "email", or,
some such thing.

The savings in bandwidth, by avoiding yet another flame war, could be
phenomenal, and could avoid even more phrenetic phrenological discussions, or
discussions about mental faculties.
