I personally thought Bret's post was justified in that it resolved a
question raised earlier on the list - does iiNet munge From: headers
(which had been causing problems for several list subscribers)

Also, I'm curious about your seemingly authoritative statement that iiNet
users make up "less than 15%" of the list's subscribers.

The list has 178 subscribers.
19 containing "iinet" in their email address
13 containing "wantree"
 3 containing "omen"
 3 containing "nettrek"
 6 containing "networx"

So not counting the other ISPs that iiNet has assimilated recently, that I
have forgotten about, that is 44 out of 178 which is just under 25%

Of course that doesn't mean iiNet specific posts should be raised on this
list, after all you could say over 50% of subscribers drive a car, so
let's talk about what brand tyres everyone recommends.

I was just curious where you got your 15% figure from.
