Nup ... I haven't played with the realport cards (the ones with no dongles)
But the credit card adapters where straight forward.  Just plug em in and they
go.

As you're running mandrake  you should be able to run 
kudzu and it should find the NIC (assuming the pcmcia stuff is loaded)
