[plug] something fishy about this hard drive

No problems with SuSE 6.4 on the same drive over here. You might be
right about
the EIDE controller on the mainboard... I'm pretty sure I'm running an
Octek 
motherboard in that box.

Also to note, I'm running reiserfs on it .. perhaps it's a filesystem
issue ?
