I've got a debian box which needs a kernel upgrade but doesn't have grub or lilo installed (nor is this an option) Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this "safely" i'd like to be able to recover if the kernel wont boot etc. This server does not have a floppy either Any ideas? Carl
