I have a Dexxa 5-button optical scroll mouse.
How do I get the two extra side buttons to work in X?

I have the scroll-wheel working well, mapping it to buttons 4 & 5 in the
X-server and using imwheel. But I cant find out how to get the side
buttons. If I can get X to generate the events, then imwheel should be
able to map them. But experiments with /etc/X11/XF86Config and 'xev' have
failed.
  Anyone heard of a way to do this?
