I probably should of been clearer but I was in a hurry... (after
rereading my email I do realise it was quite badly constructed) I am
aware of what perl, php3, sql and db2 are it is just that lacking the
knowledge of there use I was unsure which combonation of scripting
and database I should use. I have had a little experience with SQL
though that was writing VisualBasic (yuck!) frontends for Microsoft
SQL databases. Thanks for the advice though, could someone comment on
the differences between PostgreSQL and MySQL?

Does anyone know of any Perl or php3 tutorials or other resources
that may be applicable to a neophyte like myself?
