Hi I'm Trying to make a RAID-5 array with 3 SCSI and 1 IDE disk on my debian box and it doesn't work.
I have compiled the kernel to include the raid5 personality, I have configured my /etc/raidtab according to the man page but if I give it the command 
mkraid /dev/md0 
it says the 4 drives and all of their info but the next line says that mkraid failed see /proc/mdstat and syslog for clues, but they say nothing.
What am I doing wrong??
