[plug] Changing X driver - Mandrake

I'm setting up a PC with a "3dfx" card, which appears to be a Banshee
clone card with 16 MB.  It is terrible in X, with snow all over the
screen and widget problems, like the Gnome menu not being drawn out
properly.

Should I change the driver to the standard SVGA driver or is there a
setting that makes Banshees work properly?

And how do I change the driver in Mandrake?  Xconfigurator (XFdrake)
does not seem to do it.
