Is anyone using the abit KT7A-RAID board with Linux? - and how does it run? There has been a comment made on one of the Mandrake lists by one of their team (who seems to be extreemly well informed about Linux and hardware in particular, I have been impressed by his knowledge over quite a period) implying that the ide raid of this type is "useless".
