Specifically, parse something in /proc/sys/net/ipv4, or ipchains/iptables
listings (cron job doing ipxxxx -vxnZL | script). Gawk is handy for a
knock-together, but PERL or Python or Ruby would be better for something
serious and all have more of a future.
