[plug] Convert web site to wordprocessor

There are quite a few html2* file transformation utilities available.
(If I were on my machine at home I'd list them and download links for
you but I'm not :(  ) From memory, there's html2latex. Theoretically
you can read latex files in Kword (though I've not had much success so
far) and LyX. There's also html2ps (or is it htmlps?). If you don't
care for editing these helpfiles and just want to print them then this
may help.

I have often come across trouble using these utilities when the html is
properly formed. These utilities usually complain about this. I think
that there's an app called html2html which cleans up poorly formed
html, but it's been a while and I'm not using my own machine so I can't
confirm.

<pause>

yes I can. try "html2html" on google.com/linux. Try the same with the
ones I've suggested above also. Note also that there are latex2* apps
also. So to get the desired result you could html2latex followed by
latex2$<my_fave_wordpro_format>. This might be a little circuitous, but
if you've got a lot of material you want to convert and then edit in a
gui word processor it might end up being economical.
