You actually raise a valid point, Evolution does do signing in multipart
MIME. Thanks for reminding me of this.

I actually sign messages for a reason. Some time last year there was
someone who deceided they would get me back by impersonating my email.
Because they use the same SMTP server it looked like it could have come
from me, and there was very little proof of who it was. That is the
reason I started using GPG to prove my identity. There are some issues
regarding GPG/PGP and the various ways of encoding. My email can be
varified in most clients, including Evolution and Mutt. There are issues
with Outlook as they ignore the RFC.

I apologise for signing my mail, but like I said, it is the only way to
prove my identity.
