[plug] [slightly OT] IP address from netbios name?

Hi folks,

Hmm... how to determine the IP address of a machine on
an SMB network?

Obviously in Linux there are several ways, probably
the simplest is "nmblookup [name]".

Now here's the real question: how would I do this in
Win9x?

This is in order to telnet into a machine on a LAN
with a constant netbios name, but dynamic IP settings
(and no known DNS setup other than "external"
addresses from the ISP).

TIA
Andrew
