What I think its trying to do it reverse lookup the originating IP to see if 
it is allowed to relay mail for it. Internal machines should be allowed to.

In /etc/mail youll find a file called 'access'.

Add something like 1

192.168		RELAY

and recreate access.db (forget how) and restart sendmail and all should be 
sweet
