Ooooo... sorry!
I pointed my sources.list to "woody" not as per the original posting. BUT
I was going to use the word "testing" and may have wound up in a very
interesting mess. I would agree with Brian at first sight, that "unstable"
is, well, unstable and therefore to be avoided. On second thinking however
I acknowledge the logic.
Brian's additional questions / comments are interesting to me, too, because
that is exactly how I had arranged things -- apt-get points to "stable" and
I had not thought through the consequences of this, long-term. I'm looking
forward to the replies on this point especially.
