[plug] ANNOUNCE: New Linux Professionals' Organisation

There were about 15 people at the Plaka meeting tonight, and after
much productive discussion, we decided by consensus that:
- We will form a new organisation for Linux professionals
- The organisation will have "Linux" in the name
- There are too many other organisations to belong to, and too much
  SAGE/AUUG overlap, to justify reviving AUUG-WA at this stage

I won't summarise this evening's discussion here; until the new
organisation has been formed and/or has a domain name to host lists
under, further discussion about it will take place on the oss-pro
list, which any interested parties can join here:

Jeremy will be announcing on that list which name has been voted in
for the organisation. I'm sure the news of that will make its way back
to PLUG as well. The new organisation will, of course, have a large
membership overlap with PLUG, but with a focus on the business of
Linux rather than the nuts and bolts of it.
