Sorry, should've elaborated.  "K > Lock Screen" is what I meant :)

Problem is that the machine is in an air-conditioned office (not to 
mention its overcast in Broome today), and I left it for 15 minutes.  
Yesterday I went out on a job for about 4 hours and came back to find 
the air con off and resumed using the computer after unlocking it and it 
was fine.  So I'm very sure its not heat related.
