I had some nightmares getting ipp printing going on my Win2k laptop, but
I've since heard reports that it 'just works'. Who knows, perhaps I
hadn't reinstalled recently enough *sigh*.
If you can't get IPP working, try starting up a JetDirect server and
using that to accept jobs for CUPS. So you just send data to port 9100
(or 9101, etc for subsequent printers) to print it. Windows understands
JetDirect OK, I seem to remember using AdobePS and JetDirect (or maybe a
recent HP PostScript driver...) to send jobs.
