As far as DVDs go, MPlayer (yes, I admit it) andOgle will have to take a 
back seat, Xine has release candidates for version 1.0 and it's got 
everything that one would want ina commercial application but more. 
Previously I avoided Xine because it was very backwards in its ways of 
dealing with playback, but now it has full menu support, deinterlacing 
support on the fly (Ogle doesn't support that as far as I know and MPlayer 
you have to at least restart the chapter/title if not hte whole player), 
changing audio streams with ease, surround supprt etc, it's very tweaked and 
quite swank indeed.  Build it from source though, it'll be good for ya! ;p
