That seme one doesn't work for me either, the dslreports one does, I'm
using 1.4.1 also on Mozilla 1.2.1, 1.3a and 1.3b.  j2re 1.3.x crashed
mozilla due to some bad glibc calls or something - so I only JUST got
java running mozilla with 1.4.1

They stuffed up 1.3 - nothing says they didn't stuff up 1.4 too.

Many places recommend not using the sun j2re plugins when i was looking
around for the 1.3 problems, but I haven't read what else to use in
their place :) Kaffe might have some browser plugins by now - don't
know - I only use it for my digital camera with jphoto.
