Hi Barry,

you need to setup your /etc/apt/sources.list to look somethign like:

deb ftp://ftp.uwa.edu.au/mirrors/linux/debian/ woody main contrib non-free
deb ftp://ftp.uwa.edu.au/mirrors/linux/debian-non-US/ woody/non-US main contrib non-fee
deb ftp://ftp.uwa.edu.au/mirrors/linux/debian-security/ woody/updates main contrib non-free

Then if you type 'apt-get update' and 'apt-get upgrade' it should fetch the latest packages for you. Beware there will probably be alot, so come to the next PLUG Workshop meeting at UWA with a network card and you can update via the LAN at 10mbit.
