[plug] Centrino/Pentium M Linux Support?

I'm considering purchasing a Laptop, and am starting to research the tech 
behind them, and have therefore just stumbled onto Centrino/Pentium M. The 
hardware specs sound quite impressive, but how well is this processor and 
additional chipset supported by the Linux Kernel and applications?
