Seriously, you should be fine, it's a short trip through well-lit and 
camera-strewn streets. If worried go in convoy or car-pool.

If you were a vulnerable-looking femme or prone to wearing expensive clothes 
(regardless of gender), there might be a tangible risk. Due to the way the 
universe works, anyone category A is likely to have a huge and healthy pet 
dog (or concept-compatible boyfriend), and anyone in category B is likely to 
be able to afford a car anyway.
