[plug] dist-upgrade to sid (eventually) brings problems

Thanks for that Cam.
BTW does anyone have any idea when a new "working" libsdtc++5 will be
out for sid.
This problem makes dpkg spew all over apt every time you invoke it so I
am hoping I will be able to fix it without issue.
