Subject: [cnpa] Christmas Dinner
** High Priority **
Dear All,
It would appear that notification of the above event has not been
received by a number of people. In this respect please accept this
email as confirmation of the following:
1. Christmas Dinner this year is on the 27th November, next Thursday
in the Trader lounge at the Hyatt Hotel
2. Start time is 6:00pm with pre dinner drinks and finishes at
11:00pm.
3. Dinner commences at 6:30
4. Dinner is a three course buffet meal with beer, wine and soft
drinks provided throughout at no cost
5. The fee for this night of indulgence is $10.00 for members and
$75.00 for non-members and guests
Our guest speaker this year was going to be David Lenz but he has had
to cancel due to being promoted into an Asia Pac role that has taken him
to another venue. In his place is Christopher Dean a senior consulting
engineer who will give us a small talk on the recent acquisitions of
Ximian and SUSE and how Linux fits into the overall Novell strategy.
The change of speaker was only notified to us yesterday and that is why
the web site has not been updated as yet.
Could I ask all members who intend to attend to RSVP to myself in order
that I may confirm numbers to the hotel by Tuesday.
This is your event so lets make it as much fun and success as last
years!
Thank you for your cooperation
Alan Kerford
President CNPA Perth WA
