[plug] splicing video files

Get mplayer, and use mencoder. Its quite a huge command-line beast, but
comes with handy script , mencvcd, for generating vcds from nearly any
video input. (hidden away in the TOOLS/ directory)
As for splicing, I haven't done any myself but have a look at mjpegtools
it may help you out.
