[plug] Dual boot [unclassified]

I did the same when I changed from RedHat/lilo to Mandrake/grub, and
since then all I ever do is make sure to install the loader that comes
with any distro to the root partition of the new distro (not mbr) then
simply re-configure grub.

Its tough to modify your lilo config if you've just nuked the
installation ;)

The boot loader resides in the first 512b of the boot disk for both
grub and lilo. Replacing the boot loader should just work(tm) . I have
done this when moving from an old Redhat installation to a newer
version successfully. Anyone had this fail?
