[plug] Thinkpad with FireGL 7800 vid?

I have a ThinkPad with the ATI FireGL 7800 Mobility Vid card in it (64 meg).
I was wondering if anyone else out there has a similiar setup with linux and 
if they know where to get drivers from?
I've done a few google's and checked out the www.linux-thinkpad.org site but 
can't find anything on video drivers..

Also I was wondering if anyone knew if the "WARNING: DO NOT TRY I2C & 
LMSENSORS ON YOUR THINKPAD, IT WILL PROBABLY HOSE YOUR EEPROM " problem is 
still an issue for the newer model thinkpads?
