Hi Simon.
Welcome to the list :)
I'm not sure on the answer to your question, but it seemed to remain
unanswered, so I figured that I'd ask a couple of questions to get the
ball rolling.
I would normally ask if you've compiled this into your kernel, but I
guess that you've probably researched that path.
As I can't really answer your question, this is more of a post to
welcome you to the list. :)
Hopefully someone else will be able to answer your question.
Cheers,
Julian Clark

Subject: [plug] 802.11b on Acer Travelmate370
Hi all, first post I've made to this list.
I have an acer travelmate 370 and have been trying to get the wireless
working. 802.11b centrino, using the ipw2100 driver.
cat /proc/net/ipw2100/eth1/state says Wireless disabled by RF switch.
The laptop has a software switch, but the rfswitch project doesn't seem
to support my laptop.
Any suggestions on what I can try?
The acerhk project claims to be able to enable the wireless, but I think
that's just an interface to the rfswitch project, I tried anyway and
didn't get that to work either.
Simon
