Latest (cvs?) versions of Gtk+ support arbitrarily moving Gtk+ apps
between X servers.

Yep. You can also setup a VNC server to be launched on an incoming
TCP connection via inetd, and with a little scripting and cleverness
implement the idea of a session following you around as you login,
detaching the previous one (ala screen).
