You can steal a CD, illegally copy a song but you can't the steal
infrastructure anymore than a cow can take out a McDonalds franchise
license.
Artists will create their content, choose their license and their
business model and the market will decide their success and quality of
life.
We're all going to be jamming to creative commons music in the future
and buying the artists t-shirts and concert tickets while they make more
money, have more control over their work, become more successful and or
have a better quality of life than they would with a traditional record
deal with the suits.
