Be aware that there is currently a feasibility study under way - to determine if Curtin and Murdoch 
universities could/should merge into one institution - under the one banner.

How this will affect course diversification, designation and content is a mystery to me.

If they follow the TAFE way of doing things, you may find that students who live too far from a 
particular campus for a designated course, are forced to enrol in a less desirable course of study 
or they need to relocate to a place of residence nearer to the campus they NEED to attend.

This does not help students who are transportation dependant or socially disadvantaged in some way.

I think the results of this study are due some time in December, 2005.
