Err *puts hand up* .. that was me. Just got my battery repacked. I was
kind of heading along the "The batteries are only good for a certain
amount of recharges, so I should not use it too often." I plain forgot
about the fact that they do need cycling. I'm not sure why as I cycle my
mobile phone batteries regularly.
*sigh*
Oh well, I now regularly charge and discharge whilst i am sitting at the
desk, or as suggested, remove the battery if I am going to be at the
desk for a while..

I actually had a discussion similar to this with one of my clients. He
just bought a laptop and it pretty much stays plugged in. I mentioned
the fact that he might want to cycle it but he said that he was
guaranteed by the sales person (hardly normal?) that it would not
develop a memory. Not having looked into it, I was unable to really
offer any futher advise though I would be interested in others
experiences.
