[plug] Linux on bootable USB memory key

Hello,

Has anyone installed Linux on a USB memory key before?

How did you go about it and what distro/live cd did you use?

The possible implementation I am thinking of only needs a firefox,
thunderbird and rdesktop. Something like XFce should keep the interface
simple enough.

Having the live CD in the drive is a bit noisy and that is why I would
prefer to use a bootable usb thumb drive.

I don't want to use a harddrive because they are a point of failure.

regards,

Chris
