Sorry for the delay, the storm that hit Brisbane three weeks ago took
out my modem and I've just moved from QLD to SA. My fingers are still
crossed about the modem because that same storm appears to also have
taken out the wireless repeater, the base station and the set-top box,
the modem still seems flaky - expensive hobby this.

The good news is that I've also learnt that it should be possible to use
a smaller 1.2m dish with a 2Watt transmitter, rather than a 1.8m dish
with a 1Watt transmitter. (Or even a 90cm dish with a 4Watt transmitter
I think - lots of money :-)

I don't have an account with Bordernet, but I speak with them regularly.
One of my clients has a one-way setup that I needed to configure and for
that I needed to compile drivers.

I used source from a website that was the old New Zealand iHug site
IIRC, but unfortunately a late night rm -rf . in the wrong directory
took care of that, so unless I spend some time on-line looking for it, I
cannot give you a URL, though I suspect that some googling would locate
it pretty soon.

I do have a .deb for the kernel that I made, that used the standard
Debian /boot/config file, so I can mail that to you for a small
donation, this project took some 80 hours so far :-( [only partially
kidding about the money :-| - replacing fuel tanks, tyres and now a fair
bit of electronics isn't good for my sanity or bank-balance]

I still have reports about tellique being unstable and not connecting
properly and as soon as I've waded through 1100 emails that are in my
InBox, I'll be contacting Bordernet about that.
