You completely missed my point which was, in the Windows world, software 
costs money, each individual version. From that perspective, Ahead is 
giving you a free copy of Nero for Linux. The requirement to qualify for 
that free version is that you have a paid for Windows version. From 
their perspective you now have two copies of Nero, one that cost money 
and one that is free. Essentially you bought a license to use Nero and 
they are giving you the choice to use Windows or Linux for free, rather 
than require that you pay for both.
