I've never done exactly this, but I've used putty to do all manner of
weird and wonderful things over the years. There is a user manual
floating on the web by one of our PLUGgers, Leon, at:
http://cyberknights.com.au/doc/PuTTY-tunnelling-HOWTO.html, which will
help you in this.
Of course you could install all manner of applications and use those,
but I like to keep things simple :)
