[plug] Ubuntu 5.10 screen resolution prob [OT]

Greetings all and thanks to everyone who has answered.
I have not been able to check everything yet as after restarting
overnight, VMware Server (revision 22088)  has decided not to play. I
am working on that with VMware and will eventually get it going again,
I hope.
