[plug] dual screens at different resolutions and dragNdrop

This is gnome metacity thats in use.  I suspect its the i915 video
driver thats at least part of the problem (i.e., why does xorg insist on
using 768 as the maximum y dimesnsion, even when I have them disabled in
the config.  GRRRRRRR
