Interesting. I'll make some time on the weekend to upgrade it and give that
a go! I'll let you know what I find.

I've found it quite useful so far. I guess it's just a matter of what you
use it for. I've replaced my laptop with it (and plan to sell the laptop on
Ebay shortly) - but I discovered what I do with my laptop nowadays is read
Slashdot and catch up with my RSS reader on the train, so having a smaller,
lighter device that's optimised for reading is exactly what I needed. Beats
lugging around my three year old 2.5kg laptop!

The large hard disk (320GB) and Linux's encryption makes it a perfect off
site "take with me" backup of my data.

When I'm out and about I use a USB tether with my Android phone, which
covers the networking for out, at least. I did buy the cheapest possible USB
to ethernet adapter which at least gives me ethernet.
