[plug] WD-EARS 2TB drives and linux?

After repartitioning an external 1TB WD green drive with Linux, I got
incredibly slow write times in Linux.
I think the USB interface faked it as 512B sectors (for compatibility with
older versions of windows?), though the drive was really 4K.
Repartitoned  starting on multiples of 8 fake 512B sectors and all OK.
