In name only. My reading of that article and other tidbits is that it
will live on, probably by another name. Further, this 'killing' was
seemingly merciful, and will yield a quicker (yet still slow) change
to a less confusing state for the community. Time will tell I guess (:
What impresses me most is Bryan Cantrill's attitude - massive
uncertainty and upheaval in the face of a big known-OSS-badness
corporate takeover, and he remains diplomatic, civil, even positive.
He even dealt with an ad hominem insinuation in the comments in a very
straightforward manner.
