[plug] Fw: [osia-members] Call for members - Membership Committee

Hi, all. If anyone works with Linux/FOSS professionally and
hasn't yet joined Open Source Industry Australia Limited (OSIA),
I can recommend it. They are a national association that has
been going for several years now, and has recently undergone a
revitalisation. http://www.osia.net.au/

OSIA are essentially what SLPWA was intended to be, but not
restricted to WA. (Before SLPWA became dormant, I was the
chairperson.) I'm keen to see this kind of professional support
active in WA as a compliment to PLUG. When I joined the PLUG
committee, I decided that I would be the liaison between PLUG and
OSIA.

If you are a FOSS professional (or know someone who is) please
visit http://www.osia.net.au/ (or get in touch with Bob)
regarding OSIA membership. If you would like to contribute time
towards advancing the FOSS profession in Australia, please
consider joining their committee as per the forwarded message
below and the attachment.

Thank you. I look forward to any questions/comments you may have.
