The schedule looks fine.  I will only be able to attend on Saturday.

Personally I have been using Debian for some time, am somewhat
familiar with policy, packaging practices and devtools, PTS, etc..
This will be my first major attempt at bug squashing, though I am
experienced with enough development to be comfortable approaching
the task.

A general introduction/overview as you propose should suffice,
provided there is someone on hand to handle the occasional question.
