[plug] Can anyone recommend resources (local and online) for developing a Linux SOE ?

I've watched this thread and haven't seen anyone ask you the most important
question, so here it is:

"What is your use case?"

In other words, what are you trying to achieve, in which environment, with
what hardware for which users?

We can provide you with solutions until we run out of electrons, but they
won't be useful or valid until there's a context.

I could create an SOE, and likely many here, but would you want it to be
maintained, is there a budget, etc.

So, what are you trying to do?

If you need personal private support, that's also available, but don't
expect it to come for free, since that doesn't pay the rent.

Looking forward to hearing some details.
