What about treating it as a tech web site for an imaginary company you
work for?

It should contain some policy (i.e. our mindset), some links to support
that policy (e.g. open documentation on wikipedia), some links to
software, and maybe no mirrored data at all?

Value adding I think would mainly be a really good search over PLUG
email history.
